Grok Bot Lit the Fuse. My Website Is Live.

This site is something I meant to do a long, long time ago.

Procrastination was part of it. The other part was a professional habit of avoiding hand-holding web tools that always seemed to fight me more than they helped. That was my normal experience for more years than I care to recount. It is also why I never went into web development.

So… what to do.

I wanted to try Grok, but I was dubious about how useful it would actually be. I also wanted to be careful about what I connected it to. AI can go sideways. That meant I needed a project I did not really want to do myself — something personal, not business-related, something I had been putting off, and something simple enough that the output was already defined.

The answer was the personal profile project sitting on a domain I had owned for years: WilliamAudette.com.

I am not sure I like the Squarespace blog yet. For now it will do the job: point to the other work and social channels and start tying things together.

That was the test. Grok passed. The site is live.
